Vincent Rat is an accomplished researcher with significant experience in the fields of plasma and laser processes. Currently, Vincent Rat serves as the Leader of the Plasma and Laser Processes group at the Institute of Research for Ceramics - University of Limoges in France since 2022. Previously, Vincent Rat held the position of CNRS senior research scientist and research scientist at CNRS - Centre national de la recherche scientifique in 2016. Academic qualifications include a post-doctoral degree from DLR-Stuttgart German Aerospace Centre focused on the characterization of thermal plasma jets under soft vacuum conditions, as well as a Doctor of Philosophy from Université de Limoges, which concentrated on the calculation of two-temperature transport coefficients in Ar-H2 thermal plasmas.
