Yong Chen

Yong Chen is the Research Director (1st class) at CNRS, a position held since 1998. Previously, they served as Charge of Research (1st class) at CNRS from 1990 to 1998 and held academic roles as an Adjunct Professor at Kyoto University and a Professor at Ecole normale supérieure. They earned their Bachelor's degree in Semiconductor Physics from Wuhan University and subsequently completed both a Master's and PhD in Condensed Matter and Materials Physics at IAE Montpellier. Throughout their career, Yong has also been a distinguished guest professor at various institutions, including Peking University and Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
