Carlynn Nichols, LMSW, serves as the Chief Clinical Officer for Children, Families, and IDD Services at CNS Healthcare, overseeing operations and programming in this area since February 2024. Additionally, Carlynn is a part-time faculty member at Wayne State University, teaching courses related to Social Work theory and practice. With prior experience as Chief Clinical Officer at The Children's Center of Wayne County and as Director of Children's Initiatives at the Detroit Wayne Mental Health Authority, Carlynn has dedicated much of the career to developing and managing children's mental health services. Carlynn's academic background includes a Master of Social Work focused on Children, Youth, and Families from Wayne State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Michigan.
