Viera van Den Bergh Spanikova

Viera van den Bergh Spanikova has over two decades of experience in economics and sustainability, currently serving as a Policy Adviser at CNV since February 2019. Prior to this role, Viera held positions as a Senior Researcher at SEO Economisch Onderzoek and a Senior Adviser at Ecorys Nederland BV, where responsibilities included the acquisition and execution of international research and consultancy projects for major organizations such as the European Commission and the World Bank. Key areas of expertise include entrepreneurship, development of small and medium-sized enterprises, regional and local development, macroeconomics, public finance management, and program evaluation. Viera's academic background includes a lengthy tenure as a PhD student at Erasmus University Rotterdam and advanced degrees in economic policy and macroeconomics from Erasmus University Rotterdam and Ekonomická univerzita v Bratislave.
