Cinda Gilmore is an experienced educator with a strong background in elementary education. Since September 2004, Cinda has been a 4th Grade Teacher at Auburn Enlarged City School District. Prior to this role, Cinda taught 6th Grade at Cato - Meridian Middle School from September 2001 to June 2004 and spent five years as a 5th Grade Teacher at St. Joseph's School from September 1996 to June 2001. Cinda holds a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Elementary Education and Literacy from the State University of New York Cortland, where studies took place from 2000 to 2003, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) with an Independent Major in The Exceptional Child from Wells College, completed from 1994 to 1996.

Auburn is a small city located in the beautiful Finger Lakes region of New York State. The city of 32,000 is at the northern tip of Owasco Lake and is the legislative service and cultural center for Cayuga County. The district provides an excellent educational program for 4,850 full-time students as well as those who participate in night school and other programs.
