Chikara Inamura has a diverse and extensive work experience in the architecture and design industry. Chikara is currently serving as the Director of Digital Technology at CO Architects since 2021. Before joining CO Architects, Chikara worked at MIT Media Lab from 2014 to 2018, where they held the position of Research Specialist & Project Lead. Prior to that, they worked as a Structural Engineer at Sasaki and Partners from 2011 to 2014. Chikara's career also includes being a Graduate School & Visiting School Faculty at Architectural Association from 2007 to 2011 and serving as the Lead Designer & Project Architect at Zaha Hadid Architects from 2006 to 2011.
Chikara Inamura completed their education at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2014 to 2017, where they earned a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Media Arts and Science. Prior to that, they studied at SCI-Arc from 2002 to 2006 and obtained a Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) degree in Architecture.
