Yasodara Cordova has extensive experience in research and consulting roles related to technology, privacy, and citizen engagement. Yasodara'smost recent position was as an Investment Committee member at Co-Develop starting in February 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Principal Privacy Researcher at unico IDtech from August 2021. Yasodara also served as a Research Assistant at the Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University, where they focused on topic modeling, hyperlink analysis, and data collection of transnational conspiracy theories related to the 2022 Brazilian elections. Yasodara was a member of TikTok's Security Advisory Council of Brazil from March 2021 to August 2021. Yasodara also worked at the World Bank Group as a Senior Technology Consultant from July 2020 to August 2021 and as a Fellow for Citizen Engagement/AGILE from June 2019 to June 2020. In addition, they were a Senior Fellow at Harvard's Belfer Center from September 2018 to June 2019, where they conducted research, collaborated with media organizations, coached teams, and organized academic workshops. Yasodara held various roles at the Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University, including Affiliate from September 2017 to June 2019 and Fellow from August 2016 to September 2017. Yasodara was a Research Fellow at Harvard Kennedy School from September 2017 to September 2018. Earlier in their career, Yasodara worked as a Technical Consultant for Encrypted Chat Apps at Avaaz from April 2018 to August 2018 and as a Senior Researcher at the Center for Technology and Society (CTS-FGV) from September 2017 to April 2018.
Yasodara Cordova has a diverse education history. Yasodara obtained a Bachelor's degree in Design from the Universidade de Brasília, which they attended from 2000 to 2004. Later, in 2007 to 2008, they pursued an MBA in Marketing at FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas.
In 2020, Yasodara Cordova enrolled at Harvard Kennedy School, where they are currently pursuing their MC/MPA '22 degree in Public Administration. Yasodara is expected to complete the program in 2022. As a part of their education at Harvard, they also obtained a Master's in Public Administration from the same institution in May 2022.
Yasodara Cordova has also acquired various additional certifications throughout their career. In October 2019, they completed the AVIA Core Facilitator Foundation program offered by Ferrazzi Greenlight. Yasodara obtained the Privacy Engineering Certificate from the Executive Education, School of Computer Science, Carnegie Mellon University in December 2021. In May 2022, they attained the Social and Behavioral Research Investigators certification from the CITI Program.
