David Nielsen

David Nielsen is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the medical device and diagnostics industries. Currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Co-Diagnostics, Inc., David oversees the development of PCR diagnostics for various applications. As a Board Member at IONIQ Sciences, Inc., David focuses on advancing lung cancer detection. In addition, David is a Partner at SaltRidge, LLC, a startup dedicated to medical device commercialization. Previously, David held significant leadership roles at Idaho Molecular Inc. and BioFire, where responsibilities included managing large teams and successful product development initiatives. David possesses an Executive MBA from the University of Utah and multiple degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Brigham Young University and the University of Utah.
