Chris Wright

Chris Wright is a seasoned risk management professional with extensive experience at The Co-op since September 2008, currently serving as a Risk Business Partner. In this role, Chris is integral to enhancing Risk Management practices through the design and execution of an Enterprise Risk Management Framework, providing expert guidance and producing detailed risk reports for senior governance committees. Prior to this role, Chris held the position of Senior Internal Auditor at The Co-op, focusing on developing risk-based audit plans and leading complex audit assignments. Chris's career also includes positions as an External Auditor at Deloitte, where audit and assurance services were provided to a diverse clientele, and as an IT Consultant at both Xansa and Druid Systems, where systems like SAP and Siebel were implemented for major clients. Chris holds a BA in Geography from the University of Nottingham and attended Merchant Taylors' Schools.
