James Markey has over a decade of experience in category buying, currently serving as a Category Buyer at Co-op since April 2019. Prior to this role, James was a Category Buying Manager at Pret A Manger from August 2017 to March 2019 and held the position of Buying Manager at Ocado between September 2013 and August 2017. James began his career through a Retail Graduate Scheme. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in International Relations and Affairs from Loughborough University, obtained in 2012, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Government from the same university, completed in 2011.
