Robert Bignold

Robert Bignold is currently the Head of Special Assets at The Co-op Group, where they manage complex property assets with significant development potential and have successfully raised over £100 million for reinvestment in core business operations. Previously, they held various senior roles, including Property Director at Tesco Property China and Divisional Director at Hyperion Properties Ltd. Their earlier experience spans positions such as Development Manager at Alfred McAlpine and Regional Property Director at Tesco Stores CR/SR, where they contributed to the establishment and development of property teams and portfolios across multiple regions. Robert also briefly owned a consultancy firm, advising clients on land acquisition and property management. They are pursuing a BSc. in Valuation and Estate Management at Bristol Polytechnic (now UWE University).
