Jose Alfaro

Jose Alfaro is the current CEO at CO.STARTERS. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Operating Officer from January 2019 to December 2021. Jose also served as the Director Sales Operations from July 2017 to December 2018. Before joining CO.STARTERS, Jose was the General Manager at Mission Chattanooga from November 2014 to July 2017. Jose guided The Missions business arm (The Camp House) through the transition from a local coffee shop to a unique 3rd space that served as a community pillar in Chattanooga’s Innovation District. During their tenure at The Mission, Jose created processes and guidelines to ensure compliance with industry-standards and city permits. Jose also empowered and developed four leaders who went on to become managers or owners of their own ventures. Prior to their work at The Mission, Jose was the Manager at Sizzling Steak Concepts (Ruth's Chris Steak House Franchisee & Founder/Operator of UP on the Roof) from October 2013 to November 2014. Jose also served as a Task Force at Aloft Hotels from May 2013 to September 2013. Jose co-founded Black Tie Staffing in September 2012 and worked there until September 2013.

Jose Alfaro has an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Restaurant, Culinary, and Catering Management from Le Cordon Bleu Institute of Culinary Arts-Pittsburgh. Jose is also certified as a Course Facilitator from CO.STARTERS.
