Class Operations Lead at Coa

Kailey Thompson has an extensive work experience, beginning in 2014 with the City of Houston as a Homeless Initiatives Intern. In the same year, they began working for The Daily Texan in roles such as Copy Desk Chief, Associate Copy Desk Chief, Senior Designer, and Copy Editor. In 2016, Thompson worked for BUST Magazine as an Editorial Intern and for the Moody Writing Support Program as a Writing Coach. In 2017, they worked for Texas Monthly as a Production Intern and for Good Good Good as a Managing Editor. Finally, in 2021, Thompson began working for Coa as a Class Operations Lead and Class Coordinator. Currently, they are a Professional Clinical Counselor (PCC) Trainee at The Alliance.

Kailey Thompson attended The University of Texas at Austin from 2013 to 2017, where they earned a Bachelor of Journalism and a Women's and Gender Studies Minor. Kailey is currently attending Pepperdine University, where they are pursuing a Master of Clinical Psychology.
