Wataru Kurimoto has a strong background in executive roles within the fashion industry. Wataru currently serves as the CEO of Coach U, Inc. since April 2022. Prior to this, they held various positions at COACH A, starting from January 2004. Their roles at COACH A include Director, Director of Overseas Business Development, and Executive Vice President & Director of Overseas Business. Wataru Kurimoto's expertise lies in overseas business development and they have been a key player in the growth of COACH A's international operations.

Wataru Kurimoto obtained a degree in Law from Waseda University. In addition to their formal education, they have also obtained various certifications. These include Accredited Coaching Supervision from Coaching Supervision Academy Ltd in December 2021, ICF Member Badge from the International Coaching Federation in February 2021, and ICF MCC from the International Coach Federation in October 2015.
