CoachActivism exists to support the well-being, resilience, and effectiveness of humanitarian aid workers, so they can continue doing vital work without burning out or losing themselves in the process.

We are a global, volunteer-powered community of professional coaches who believe that caring for the people who care for others is not optional, but essential. Our work is rooted in dignity, empowerment, and deep respect for the complex realities of humanitarian, international development and refugee support work.

CoachActivism provides high-quality, pro-bono coaching to individuals and teams in the humanitarian sector. Through structured coaching engagements, participants gain greater clarity, resilience, self-leadership, and sustainable ways of working, often experienced as transformational and deeply grounding during times of high pressure and uncertainty.

Our coaches are professionally trained and supported to work within humanitarian contexts, offering a confidential space to think, reflect, and strengthen inner capacity, rather than pushing for quick fixes or performance at any cost.

Our vision is a world where well-being and reflective support are embedded in humanitarian work, just as much as technical skills and operational excellence. When aid workers are supported as whole humans, their impact becomes more sustainable, for themselves, their teams, and the communities they serve.

Join us in building a more sustainable and resilient humanitarian sector. Become a CoachActivism volunteer coach, apply for coaching support, or partner with us to strengthen the people behind humanitarian work.
