Michael Rios is an experienced operations manager at Coachella Valley Water District, overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of a 500-mile irrigation water distribution system since September 2006. Prior to this role, Michael served as a wildland firefighter with the USDA Forest Service from December 2003 to August 2006, working as an IHC Hotshot crew member responsible for fire suppression in national forests.
