Mike Balian has over 10 years of experience in basketball-related roles. In 2008, they started as a Community Relations Intern at the Los Angeles Clippers. In 2010, they became a High School Basketball Official at the California Basketball Officials Association (C.B.O.A.) and a Skill Trainer at Mike Balian Basketball. From 2016 to 2018, they held multiple roles, including Director of Basketball Operations at the Burbank Youth Center, Head Basketball Coach at Campbell Hall Episcopal, and Head Varsity Coach/Director of Basketball Operations at Oakwood School. In 2017, they also became a Basketball Coach at CoachUp.
Mike Balian completed their Bachelor's in Science from California State University, Northridge in 2016, with a major in Kinesiology - Physical Education. Prior to that, they attended Glendale Community College from 2011 to 2013, studying Recreation Management.
