Roderick Brooks

Roderick Brooks has a long and varied work experience. Roderick began their career in 1997 as the Owner/Operator of $1.99 Cleaners. In 2011, they became the Head Coach of Florida Select AAU Basketball and the Head Mens JV & Assistant Varsity Basketball Coach at Tampa Preparatory School. In 2013, they began working as a Private Basketball Coach for CoachUp, teaching the fundamentals of the game. In 2014, they took on the role of Marketing/Organization Relations Coordinator for Bay Area Bolts. In 2016, they joined the Board of Directors at Beyond The Whistle. In 2021, they became the Director of Basketball for Manatee Mustangs Sports Academy. Most recently, in 2022, they were appointed as the Head Mens Basketball Coach at Fivay High School.

Roderick Brooks attended Palmetto High School from 1985 to 1989 and then went on to the University of Tampa where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from 1989 to 1994.
