Devendra Prasad

Devendra Prasad is a seasoned mining professional with extensive experience spanning over two decades in various roles. Currently serving as a Mining Consultant at Matrix Mining Solutions Private Limited since March 2023, Devendra has been with Coal India Limited since September 2006, holding the position of General Manager, Mining, with responsibilities in joint ventures and corporate communication. Previous roles include Area General Manager at BCCL from December 2005 to August 2010, focusing on mine planning, coal production and dispatch, and industrial relations management across multiple areas. Prior to that, Devendra was a Project Officer at CCL from March 2003 to December 2005, also dedicated to mine planning and related activities. Devendra Prasad holds a Bachelor of Technology in Mining Technology from St. Xavier's College, Ranchi, a Master of Business Administration in Finance from BIT mesra, and a Bachelor of Technology in Mining and Mineral Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad.
