Muzahid Azam

Muzahid Azam has been with Coal India Limited since December 2011, progressing through various roles including Shift Manager, Production Incharge, Safety Officer, and currently serving as Mine Planning Officer. Key responsibilities have included managing operations, ensuring safety, developing mine planning strategies, and conducting audits and training. Muzahid has participated in two international Mines Rescue Competitions and received the best employee award for innovation in 2016 from the Chairman and Managing Director. Prior experience includes a role as Graduate Engineer Trainee at Vedanta Resources Plc. Muzahid holds a Bachelor’s in Technology (B.Tech) in Mining Engineering from the University College of Engineering, Kakatiya University (2007-2011).
