Nandan Choudhury

Nandan Choudhury is a Deputy Manager in Geology at Coal India Limited, with a focus on Research & Development since April 2018. Previously, Nandan served as an Assistant Manager in the Geology/R&D Department at Northern Coalfields Limited and held the position of Research Fellow at Delhi University while pursuing a PhD in Geology. A summer internship at the Wadia Institute of Himalayan Geology involved a stable isotopic study related to the Indus Tsangpo Suture Zone. Additional experience includes a role as Project Associate at the University of Delhi, concentrating on the socio-psychological impacts of religious waste immersion on rivers. Nandan's educational background features a PhD in Mining Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, an Executive Diploma in Project Management from the International Institute of Projects and Program Management, a Master of Science in Geology, and a Bachelor of Science in Geology, all from Delhi University.
