Peter Jordan was appointed as a Director of Coal Services on 1 January 2012 and has been appointed as Chairman for the 2022/23 period. Peter is President of the Northern District of the Mining & Energy Union and has had the responsibility to represent Mineworkers in the NSW coal mining industry for over 34 years.Peter represents the Union as a Director of Unite Organising Pty Ltd, Mining & Energy Workers Services Pty Ltd and is Chairman of United Collieries Pty Limited. He is also a Trustee of the ‘Mineworkers Trust’. Peter is an appointed member of the NSW Mine Safety Advisory Council (MSAC).
