Ingrid Olson

Ingrid Olson is a seasoned professional in application security with a diverse background in software engineering, DevOps, and security analysis. Currently serving as Principal, Application Security at Coalfire since March 2022, Ingrid has previously held multiple roles at GuidePoint Security, including DevOps Lead, Security Developer, and Application Security Analyst from June 2016 to September 2022. Ingrid also served as President of OWASP Maine from January 2017 to October 2019 and worked as a Software Engineer at DeskNet Inc. from August 2011 to September 2014, where key contributions included designing messaging systems and web applications. Ingrid holds a Bachelor of Arts in Physics from Reed College and a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Southern Maine, where notable projects included automating workflows for neuropeptide identification and enhancing granular gas simulations.
