John Skipper

John Skipper is a seasoned security professional with extensive experience in penetration testing and security operations. Currently serving as a Principal Security Consultant - Penetration Tester at Coalfire Systems, Inc. since April 2015, John specializes in evaluating the effectiveness of security controls for a variety of compliance standards. Previously, John worked as a Security Operation Engineer at Level 3 Communications, where responsibilities included Tier III security management, provisioning, and maintenance of firewalls. John’s background also includes systems engineering at EchoStar Corporation, where management of a large production environment was emphasized, and experience as an instructor for executives at Bridge Linguatec. With a foundation in computer networking and security education from Regis University and Laramie County Community College, John is positioned as an expert in the field of cybersecurity.
