Steve Carleton

Steve Carleton has extensive experience in both education and cybersecurity. At Coalfire, Steve has progressed through various roles since July 2018, currently serving as a Director, and has also held titles such as Senior Manager and Security Consultant Penetration Tester. Prior to Coalfire, Steve worked at CyberCecurity as a Consultant focusing on policy, vendor assessment, and vendor risk management from April 2017 to June 2018. Additionally, Steve has a strong background in education, having taught Science and Engineering at Douglas County School District from August 2015 to June 2018, where responsibilities included mentoring in information security, robotics, drone racing, and rocketry, as well as teaching Physics and Chemistry. Steve's teaching career began at Horry County Schools, where Steve served as a Science/Engineering teacher and department chairman from August 2001 to June 2013. Steve holds a degree from Coastal Carolina University.
