Roxanne Beardmore

Director for Women's Residential and Counseling Center / Scattered Site Housing at Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida

Roxanne Beardmore has worked for the Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida since 2008, where they have held two roles. Roxanne is currently the Director for Women's Residential and Counseling Center / Scattered Site Housing, where they direct the day-to-day operations of a 138-person capacity shelter for single women and mothers with children. Roxanne is also responsible for auditing all files to ensure grant compliance. Previously, they were the Director for Center for Women & Families, Scattered Site Housing, Housing Now, First Steps for Women, where they directed the daily operations of a 240-person capacity emergency shelter for women and families with children. Roxanne also provided direct management to 13 full-time and 3 part-time employees.

Roxanne Beardmore also worked for the Coalition for the Homeless from 2005 to 2008, where they held the role of Scattered Site - Transitional Housing Manager. In this role, they managed the Scattered Site Transitional Housing program, which provided rental assistance for up to two years and required candidates to meet with a case manager twice a month.

Roxanne Beardmore obtained their Associate's degree in Accounting and Finance from Central City Business Institute between 1990 and 1992. In 2003, they completed a Child Development Specialist Diploma from Orlando Tech. In 2004, they began their studies at Florida Metropolitan University, graduating with a BA in Business Administration in 2008. In 2005, they obtained a Parent Educator Certificate from Parents As Teachers and a Certification in Early Childhood Education and Teaching.
