Jaime Averil Gilchrist

Jaime Averil Gilchrist is an experienced elementary school teacher currently engaged in relief teaching since June 2024. With a diverse career spanning various roles, Jaime has served as an ambassador for Coalition Snow since November 2016, advocating for the representation of women and non-binary individuals in snowsports. Previous positions include Guest Service Team Lead at Minaret Station, Key Leader at lululemon, Gymnastics Coach at Olympia Gymnastics Sports, and Skiwee Lead Instructor at Grouse Mountain. Educated at the University of Canterbury, Jaime holds a Bachelor of Teaching and Learning in Elementary Education and a Bachelor of Science in Geography. A committed advocate for empowering others, Jaime promotes a strong sense of community among women in outdoor sports through initiatives like #sisterhoodofshred.
