Michael Phillips

Michael Phillips is currently the Head of Global Cyber Portfolio Underwriting at Coalition, where they drive global underwriting strategy and product innovation. They also serve as the Global Co-Chair of the Ransomware Task Force, engaging with governments and policymakers on cyber risk and resilience. Previously, they held positions such as Chief Claims Officer at Resilience and Head of Cyber Claims at Allianz, where they led innovative cyber solutions and claims management. Michael’s legal career includes litigation at firms such as Clyde & Co and Fensterstock & Partners, along with contributions to publications like The New Yorker. They are also the founder of Chelsea Court, a philanthropy and strategic advisory platform.
