Nelson Lao

Nelson Lao is a Product Engineering Manager and Embedded Systems Engineer at Coapt, specializing in Myo Pattern Recognition since August 2019. Before this role, Nelson worked as an Electrical Engineering Intern at Brunswick Corporation, where collaboration with electrical and mechanical engineers led to the development of a proof-of-concept marine generator and firmware development in C. Nelson also gained experience as a Camera Test Engineer at Google during two separate internships, focusing on image and video quality testing and bug identification. Nelson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
