Coast Mental Health
Matt Granlund is an experienced legal advocate and mental health worker with a diverse background in both social services and the arts. At the Law Foundation of BC and Women's Contact Society since October 2015, Matt provides crucial legal support. Concurrently, involvement with the Portland Hotel Society and Coast Mental Health as a mental health worker and casual case manager continues since October 2010 and 2010, respectively. As a producer and host of 'Stranded: The Australian/Canadian Music Show' since 2008, Matt combines a passion for music with professional expertise. Previous roles include research assistant and interviewer at the Centre for Health Evaluation and Outcome Sciences from June 2013 to June 2015, and program supervisor and fundraising manager at Public Outreach from August 2006 to January 2008. Educational background includes studies at The Australian National University from 1997 to 2002 and completion of a program at Vedic Academy of Sciences and Arts.

Coast Mental Health
Embarking on the road to recovery from mental illness is a deeply personal decision followed by an equally personal process. Community-based mental health care allows for programs, services, and resources to be customized around each person’s unique recovery needs. For 45+ years, Coast Mental Health has been empowering people living with mental illness by providing three essential pillars of sustained recovery: housing, support services, and employment/education.
