Richard O'Shaughnessy is an accomplished professional in events and corporate engagement with extensive experience in the non-profit sector. Currently serving as the Manager of Events & Corporate Engagement at Coast Mental Health since January 2019, Richard has previously held multiple roles at Variety - The Children's Charity of BC, where responsibilities included management of signature events and community development. Richard also contributed to United Way of the Lower Mainland as a Campaign Associate and gained foundational experience in administrative roles at Deloitte Canada and other companies. With educational credentials including a Diploma in HR Management from Simon Fraser University and a Bachelor's degree in Marketing & Management from Limerick Institute of Technology, Richard is well-equipped to drive impactful initiatives in community-focused settings.

For 45+ years, Coast Mental Health has been empowering people living with mental illness by providing three essential pillars of sustained recovery: housing, support services, and employment/education.
