Rhia S. Andrew Leggett

S. Andrew Leggett, RHIA CCS has extensive work experience in revenue cycle management and patient financial services. S. Andrew has held various leadership positions throughout their career, including System Director Revenue Cycle for Pipeline Health System LLC since 2021 and System Director of Revenue Cycle Management for Avanti Hospitals, LLC since 2017. Prior to that, Leggett served as the Director Patient Financial Services at Huntington Memorial Hospital from 2014 to 2017 and Director Revenue Cycle at Healthsmart Inc/Western Practice Management from 2000 to 2014. S. Andrew also worked at Tenet Healthcare, where they served as the Director Central Business Office from 1992 to 2000. Leggett began their career at Pacifc Health Corporation in 1986, where they held various roles including Director Patient Financial Services.

S. Andrew Leggett, RHIA CCS, has a comprehensive education history spanning various institutions and fields of study. Beginning with their high school diploma from Monte Vista High School in 1980, Leggett then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Management at the University of La Verne from 2002 to 2005. Later, they furthered their education at Santa Barbara City College from 2015 to 2018, focusing on Health Information Technology and obtaining certifications in RHIT/CCS. Additionally, Leggett attended Whittier College from 1980 to 1984, studying Music History.

In terms of professional certifications, Leggett has obtained several highly regarded credentials. S. Andrew achieved the CCS (Certified Coding Specialist) certification from AHIMA (American Health Information Management Association) in April 2018. Similarly, Leggett earned the Certified Patient Account Manager certification from the American Guild of Patient Account Management in June 1992.
