Mark Smaizys

Mark Smaizys is a seasoned banking professional with extensive experience in commercial lending and relationship management. Currently serving as Senior Vice President and Coastal Region Market Executive at Coastal Carolina National Bank since September 2025, Mark has previously held senior roles at United Community Bank and TD, focusing on commercial and industrial (C&I) financing as well as commercial real estate. Mark's leadership extends beyond banking; involvement includes roles as Executive Board Member and 2023 President of Habitat For Humanity, board memberships with the Myrtle Beach Regional Economic Development Corporation and Chanticleer Athletic Foundation, and graduation from Leadership Grand Strand's Class XXXIX. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Eastern Illinois University.
