Linda Toney

Linda Toney is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in law enforcement and education. Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer at L. Toney Consulting, Linda provides consultation services to public safety professionals and businesses. As an instructor at Cape Fear Community College and Coastal Carolina Community College, Linda imparts knowledge in various subjects. Additionally, Linda contributes as an instructor for the PELS program through UR School of Professional & Continuing Studies and serves as a substitute teacher at the Girls Leadership Academy of Wilmington. Linda's previous roles include Assistant Chief of Police and Major at Henrico County Police Division, with a focus on support operations, community policing, and criminal investigations. Linda holds a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice/Police Science from Virginia Commonwealth University and completed General Instructor Training at Cape Fear Community College.
