Katherine Byron

Katherine (Kate) Byron is an experienced professional in higher education, currently serving as Associate Director of Employer Engagement at Coastal Carolina University since January 2017. Kate has a robust background in career services, academic advising, and program coordination, demonstrating expertise in professional development programs for students and alumni, event planning for career fairs, and providing personalized career counseling. With previous roles as an Advising Specialist at Hudson Valley Community College and various positions at other educational institutions, Kate has developed a strong foundation in guiding students towards academic and career success. Kate holds a Bachelor of Science in Child and Family Studies from SUNY Oneonta and a Master of Science in Education from The College of Saint Rose.
