Renee Ortiz is a seasoned professional with a strong background in executive administration and program development. Currently serving as a Senior Executive Assistant at Coastal Credit Union since May 2023, Renee provides high-level administrative support to the Chief Community Impact Officer and Chief Lending Officer. Previous experience includes leadership roles such as Director of National Programs at The Hunt Institute and Managing Director of National Foundations Partnerships at Teach For America, where significant contributions were made to brand presence and operating revenue. Additional roles include Executive Director at The Center for Social Justice & Human Understanding, Inc., and Assistant Director of Development at Suffolk County Community College, where fundraising events yielded over $300K. A solid foundation in administration was built as Chief Deputy Clerk with the Suffolk County Legislature and as Director of the Suffolk County Office of Minority Affairs. Renee holds a Master's degree in Human Resources Management and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Stony Brook University.
