Ida Shehu, MPA, has extensive experience in security and development, currently serving as a Security Professional at Coastal International Security, Inc. since January 2015, where responsibilities include providing security for embassy construction sites and reporting security concerns. Previously, at the Navanti Group, Ida produced detailed reports on the political and socio-economic landscape of Kosovo and Albania. As Development Manager at the M. & M. Ivanaj Foundation Institute, Ida focused on research and project implementation in civic education and human rights. Additional roles include Proposal Development Consultant for the Albanian American Development Foundation, where proposals were crafted for various development projects, and an internship with the New York City Office of Emergency Management as Community Outreach Coordinator, contributing to training programs for emergency response teams. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Administration from Baruch College and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from John Jay College (CUNY).
