Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority of Louisiana
Adam J Constantin is a Coastal Resources Scientist with extensive experience in GIS analysis and environmental assessment. Currently employed at the Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority of Louisiana, Adam has previously held roles as a GIS Analyst at HDR and a GIS Specialist/Ecologist at JESCO Environmental & Geotechnical Services, Inc., where expertise in aerial drone surveys and GIS analysis was developed. Academic foundations include a Master of Science in Biology and an MBA from the University of Alabama and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, respectively. Adam's early career consisted of research and teaching positions, including a Research Associate at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where management of greenhouse facilities and strategic development of native plant programs were key responsibilities. Adam's collaborative work with the U.S. Geological Survey and focused educational activities reinforce a strong commitment to environmental science and community engagement.

The CPRA is the state agency leading coastal restoration, hurricane protection and other community resiliency efforts. Our mandate is to develop, implement, and enforce a comprehensive protection and restoration master plan for coastal Louisiana. Working with federal, state, and local political subdivisions, including levee districts, the CPRA is working to establish a safe and sustainable coast that will protect our communities, the nation’s critical energy infrastructure, and our bountiful natural resources for generations to come.
