Janice Lansing has extensive experience in financial management, human resources, and policy development. Janice has held leadership positions in various government agencies in Louisiana, including serving as Chief Financial Officer at the Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority. Janice's background also includes roles as a Board Trustee for the Louisiana State Employees Retirement System and as Chair of the Governor's Task Force on Sexual Harassment and Discrimination. With a Master's degree in Public Administration from Louisiana State University, Janice has a strong foundation in government administration.

Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority of Louisiana
The CPRA is the state agency leading coastal restoration, hurricane protection and other community resiliency efforts. Our mandate is to develop, implement, and enforce a comprehensive protection and restoration master plan for coastal Louisiana. Working with federal, state, and local political subdivisions, including levee districts, the CPRA is working to establish a safe and sustainable coast that will protect our communities, the nation’s critical energy infrastructure, and our bountiful natural resources for generations to come.
