Joseph Wyble

Joseph Wyble is a seasoned professional in coastal planning and project management with over a decade of experience in various technical roles. Currently serving as a Project Management Administrator at the Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority of Louisiana since June 2013, Joseph previously held the position of Principal Scientist at Brown and Caldwell from May 2009 to June 2013. Earlier in Joseph's career, a role as Project Manager at G.E.C., Inc. from May 2001 to May 2009 involved responsibilities in NEPA compliance and site investigations. Joseph holds a Master of Science in Geology and a Bachelor of Science in Geology, both from Louisiana State University.

The CPRA is the state agency leading coastal restoration, hurricane protection and other community resiliency efforts. Our mandate is to develop, implement, and enforce a comprehensive protection and restoration master plan for coastal Louisiana. Working with federal, state, and local political subdivisions, including levee districts, the CPRA is working to establish a safe and sustainable coast that will protect our communities, the nation’s critical energy infrastructure, and our bountiful natural resources for generations to come.
