Nathaniel Betz

Director Of Community Programs at Coastal Villages Region Fund

Nathaniel Betz's work experience begins with their role as a Community Planning Intern at The Denali Commission in 2007. In 2010, they became a Research Associate at The Center for Farmland Policy Innovation. From 2011 to 2014, they worked as a College & Career Guide at the Alaska Commission on Postsecondary Education. In 2014, they moved on to become a Planner at the State of Alaska, Division of Community & Regional Affairs. Nathaniel'snext position was at Coastal Villages Region Fund, where they started as a Community Benefits Manager in 2015. Nathaniel then progressed to the role of Director of Community Programs, which they currently hold as of November 2020.

Nathaniel Betz attended Colby College from 2005 to 2009, where they earned their Bachelor's degree in Government. Following this, they pursued further education at The Ohio State University from 2009 to 2011, obtaining a Master's degree in City & Regional Planning.
