George Hicks

George Hicks is a seasoned civil engineer with extensive experience in public works management. Currently serving as the Managing/Supervising Civil Engineer at Coastland | DCCM since March 2018, George has previously held significant positions including Director of Public Works for the City of Fairfield (2007-2017), City of Healdsburg (1999-2007), Suisun City (1994-1996), and City of Winters (1992-1994). Additionally, George worked as Deputy Chief Engineer for the Sonoma County Water Agency (1996-1999), where responsibilities included managing operations for an 80 mgd water system, multiple wastewater districts, and flood control districts. George holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from California State University, Chico, earned between 1982 and 1986.
