Nigel Tunnacliffe

Nigel Tunnacliffe is the current CEO at Coastline Academy. Prior to their current role, they served as Vice President, Publisher at ShareThis from June 2014 to June 2017. In this role, Nigel led the Publisher Account Management and Support teams and worked closely with product and engineering teams to create the next generation of features for ShareThis publishers. Nigel also added 1 million sites to the ShareThis network through four strategic acquisitions.

From August 2013 to May 2014, Nigel served as Vice President of Operations at uBiome. As one of the company's first five employees, Nigel was instrumental in developing uBiome's first business-to-business offering, closing deals with Fortune 100 companies and leading universities, and designing and implementing scalable logistics systems. Nigel also setup customer support systems and hired a team to deliver top-notch support.

Before their time at uBiome, Nigel served as Operations (contract) at Zirtual from January 2013 to May 2013.

Nigel Tunnacliffe has an MBA from the Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford, where they were a Skoll Scholar. Nigel also has a Bachelor's Degree in Communications from Simon Fraser University, and a Certificate in Sustainable Community Development from Simon Fraser University. Nigel attended high school at West Vancouver Secondary School, where they completed the International Baccalaureate Diploma.
