Kumar Jagatheesan

Kumar Jagatheesan is an experienced procurement professional with a robust background in sourcing and supply chain management across various industries. Currently serving as Procurement Director at Coats since November 2019, Kumar manages an annual procurement budget of approximately $200 million, overseeing raw material and packing material procurement. Prior to this role, Kumar was General Manager of Procurement at Creamline Dairy, where sourcing milk through an extensive network was a key responsibility. As Associate Director of Strategic Sourcing at AB InBev India, Kumar achieved significant cost savings and facilitated renewable energy sourcing for breweries. Additional experience includes leadership positions at Kaleesuwari Refinery, Olam International, Afcott Nigeria, ICICI Bank, and Rallis India, with a strong focus on procurement, sourcing, and marketing. Kumar holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) from the National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management and a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University.
