Maxime Jarrin is an experienced rAAV Process Development Engineer currently working at Coave Therapeutics since August 2022. Prior to this role, Maxime served as a Gene Therapy Process Transfer Engineer at Sanofi Genzyme from September 2017 to August 2022, where involvement in GMP production of viral vectors included working within multidisciplinary teams to address technical needs in upstream and downstream processes. Maxime also has experience as an Upstream Process Development Scientist at GSK, focusing on cell culture and transfection, as well as a stint in upstream development at Sanofi Pasteur, optimizing lentiviral vector production. Academic qualifications include an engineering degree in Biochemistry and Biotechnology from INSA Lyon and a DUT in Biological Engineering from IUT Lyon 1.

Coave Therapeutics is a clinical stage biotechnology company focused on developing life changing gene therapies in rare Ocular and CNS (Central Nervous System) diseases. We are pushing the boundaries of gene therapy through application of our AAV-Ligand Conjugates platform (ALIGATER) that enables targeted delivery, enhanced gene transduction and tissue distribution to improve the effectiveness of advanced gene therapies for rare diseases.
