Susannah McLaren is an accomplished professional in responsible sourcing and sustainability, currently serving as the Head of Responsible Sourcing & Sustainability at the Cobalt Institute since December 2020. The Cobalt Institute (CI) is a non-profit trade association composed of producers, users, recyclers, and traders of cobalt which promotes the sustainable production and use of cobalt and acts as a knowledge centre for governments, agencies, industry, the media and the public. The Institute is largely focused on health, safety and environment, regulatory matters (chemical management), responsible sourcing, sustainability markers, global advocacy and providing useful information on cobalt and its applications.
