Christian Hansen is a Co-Founder and Distinguished Engineer at Cobalt.io. Prior to that, they were an iOS and Web Developer at BYTEPOETS GmbH from February 2012 to December 2012. There, they developed apps for iOS and web, backend and frontend, using basically all iOS API's, as well as REST interfaces and many 3rd party libraries.

Before that, they were the Founder and Developer of Calcul8.it from August 2011 to June 2013, where they did mobile application development and 3D modeling. Christian also did strength and vibration analysis. Christian built Polygon - the first mobile app to view ANSYS Finite Element Models (FEM) in 3D. Christian also built Flow2Go - the first mobile app to parse, view, gate, sub-population plot, Flow Cytometry files (FCS). And finally, they built Lifebeat for iOS - http://lifebeatapp.com/. Some of their implementations include a custom collection view layout for Flipboard style magazine, and developing OAuth 1.0 and 2.0 authentication.

Christian Hansen has a B.Sc. in engineering physics/applied physics from the Technical University of Denmark. Christian also has an M.Sc. in applied physics engineering / microtechnology from the same school. In addition, they have a bachelor's degree in applied physics from Grenoble INP - UGA. Christian is currently a firefighter and rescuer with the Danish Emergency Management Agency.
