Greg Tevis

Greg Tevis is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in data protection and storage management. Currently serving as the VP of Strategy at Cobalt Iron since June 2018, Greg focuses on delivering analytics-driven solutions. Prior to this role, Greg spent 36 years at IBM in various capacities, including Storage Management Technical Strategist, where responsibilities included driving technical strategy for storage software, and managing a 60-person team for DFSMS/VM development. Additional experience at IBM involved providing technical enablement and support for Tivoli Storage Manager and serving as an architect for Tivoli Storage Productivity Center. Greg holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Arizona and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Brigham Young University, along with earlier studies at Santa Clara University.
