Alp Basol

Alp Basol currently serves as the Head of Strategic Innovation and AI Center of Excellence at CoBank, a position held since June 2024, where responsibilities include leading the Innovation Lab and advancing innovative ideas and solutions within the organization and the Farm Credit System. Prior to this role, Alp was the Senior Director of Strategy & Innovation at AT&T from July 2018 to June 2024, functioning as a Vertical CTO and managing customer relationships with Fortune 500 companies. Earlier experience includes serving as the Chief Technology Officer for Global Enterprise at Telstra and various leadership positions at AT&T, focused on strategy, innovation, and technology roadmaps. Alp's career began at Agilent as a Sales Support Engineer and progressed through various technical consulting roles. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science and Graduate Diplomas in Network Systems and IT from Swinburne University of Technology.
