Matthew Ogaz

Matthew Ogaz, CPA, has a diverse work experience in the field of audit and assurance. Matthew started their career at New Mexico State University, where they worked as a Graduate Assistant from August 2013 to May 2014. Matthew then joined EY as an Assurance Staff in August 2014 and later became an Assurance Senior in September 2016.

In 2016, Matthew transitioned to CoBank, where they held several progressive roles. Matthew started as a Senior Auditor in December 2016 and worked until February 2019. Matthew then became a Lead Auditor from March 2019 to June 2020. Matthew's next role at CoBank was as an Audit Manager from June 2020 to January 2022. Matthew then moved up to become a Senior Manager of Internal Audit from January 2022 to January 2024. Currently, Matthew serves as the Director of Audit at CoBank.

Throughout their career, Matthew has gained valuable experience and expertise in audit, assurance, and internal audit functions. Matthew has demonstrated their abilities to move up the ladder and take on progressively responsible roles.

Matthew Ogaz, CPA, holds a Master's Degree in Accounting from New Mexico State University, which they obtained in 2014. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from the same university, graduating in 2013. In addition to their academic achievements, they are a Certified Public Accountant, having obtained this certification from the AICPA and also from the state of Colorado in 2014.
